According to the Toyota, the TMG EV P002 has just smashed the record for fastest lap around the Nurburgring for an electric car. It came in at 7:22. That is 25 seconds faster than the previous record. The TMG EV P002 has two electric motors that deliver an output of 469 HP and 663 LB-FT of torque. It has a top speed of 158 Mph. In other words, this is certainly not a Prius.
